ABOUT
Evan Jackson is a cinematographer and content creator based in Massachusetts, with a passion for storytelling that started early—shooting homemade short films with friends and spending every other minute on the ice playing hockey.
After college, he moved to Southern California where he co-founded Top Group Media, a startup video agency focused on helping brands tell their stories through video. During that time, he worked with a wide range of clients—from indie record labels like Mind of a Genius to luxury yachts, gyms, and dental practices—gaining valuable experience in both creative direction and client work.
Eventually, Evan found his way back to New England and into the world of sports filmmaking, joining the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse as a videographer. That role opened doors to more commercial work, including a creative position at Beasley Media Group, where he developed branded content for all kinds of businesses looking to expand their reach beyond traditional radio.
Currently, Evan is the full-time video and photo creative at Sparx Hockey, where he leads production across their social channels and commercial campaigns. He also runs his own business—Evan Jackson Productions—taking on freelance projects for brands in the footwear, healthcare, insurance, fitness, beverage, automotive industries and more.
Evan is Part 107 certified for drone work, and his footage has even been featured in a PBS documentary about the behind-the-scenes of WaterFire in Providence. Across every project, he brings a deep love for cinematography and a consistent goal: to create imagery that feels honest, captivating, and emotionally grounded.
